MorningStar Home Tours and Open House– Concepts of sustainable design, energy efficiency, and solar energy, provided through scheduled tours (including Board of Trustee Partner and Leonhard Center programs) and a weekly open house (40 events since Sept. 08)
American Indian Housing Initiative – Research and education program in which students assess and experiment with sustainable housing solutions and education programs on American Indian Reservations.
Solar Energy Conference – Conference organized to address issues in the deployment of solar energy in PA and the Northeast Region, May 6-7, 2009.
Solar Racers – Penn State student team with local science middle school classes to design and build miniature solar cars culminating in a racing event on the Penn State Campus.
National Energy Leadership Corps – Pilot program to engage Penn State students in energy counseling and home energy assessments in low-income communities.
